Sheldon Forney, CPA

Sheldon Forney is President of the firm and has been a member of the team since 1986. With over 30 years of accounting experience, Sheldon is the Accounting and Auditing Director of the firm, responsible for ensuring our compliance with firm and professional standards related to compilation, reviews and financial audit engagements. With his background in assurance services, Sheldon has assisted medical practices, manufacturing entities and other closely held businesses and their owners to help navigate financing opportunities, cash flow issues, income taxes and daily management issues. Sheldon’s knowledge in firm management and business advising has resulted in a reputation of providing strategic, helpful and solution-oriented advice to clients.

Graduating from the University of Delaware, Sheldon received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1982. He is a member of the Delaware Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s and is a past member and chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Delaware Society of CPA’s. In his community, Sheldon participates in supporting the Odyssey of the Mind Program in the State of Delaware, which promotes the development of problem solving skills for local students. When not in the office, you can find Sheldon enjoying time with his family and fishing the beaches in Sussex County and the Outer Banks.
